The Hochschule für bildende Künste Hamburg (HFBK Hamburg) is an internationally oriented art university offering Fine Arts BA and MA programs. Role
The Professor of Art Theory will:
- Teach in the field of art theory, including courses conducted in English.
- Engage with and contribute to debates in the globally interconnected contemporary art scene.
- Provide leadership in theoretical discourse within the department of Theory and History.
- Participate actively in the academic life of HFBK Hamburg.

Eligibility:
The successful candidate will demonstrate:
- A strong national and international academic track record in art theory.

- Experience in university-level teaching, with willingness to teach in English.
- Commitment to collaborative participation in university affairs.
