Fresh Take 2025 Writing Contest – Southeast Asian Art Scene
Art & Market invites early-career writers to submit critical or creative responses to an exhibition held between March 1 and September 28, 2025. Entries can take the form of traditional reviews or essays, as well as creative formats like ekphrasis, poetry, microfiction, or creative nonfiction. Submissions should reflect a distinct point of view on Southeast Asian art and align stylistically with A&M’s published writing.

Responses to Southeast Asian exhibitions—creative freedom within thoughtful art writing and critical engagement.

- Deadline: September 28, 2025, 11:59 PM (GMT+8)
- Winners Notified: By October 6, 2025 via email
- Duration: Contest takes place in late 2025, with judging and announcements in early October
