Aesthetica Magazine is looking for work that demonstrates innovation and creativity, for its annual Aesthetica Art Prize competition, now open for entries for 2024.
Since 2007, we have worked with thousands of artists, putting their work in front of curators and gallerists from across the world, including those from Tate Modern, Barbican, Guggenheim, Brooklyn Museum, British Journal of Photography, Creative Review, YSP, Frieze, London Art Fair and more.
We celebrate creativity in all its forms – across multiple media including Painting and Drawing; Video, Sculpture, Installation, Performance; Photography, Digital Art, Artists’ Film, Ceramics, Illustration, Mixed-Media and more.
Our alumni have achieved further exhibitions at Tate Modern, The Photographers’ Gallery, MoMA PS1, Foam Amsterdam, V&A, Barbican, Guggenheim, Saatchi Gallery, Centre Pompidou and more.
Hosted by Aesthetica Magazine, this art prize is a celebration of excellence in art. It offers both emerging and established artists the opportunity to showcase their work to a wider audience, and further their engagement with the international art world.
The Aesthetica Art Prize celebrates contemporary art in all its forms, offering opportunities for exhibition at a major public gallery alongside online publication and £10,000 prize money.

- Complimentary pass to the Future Now Symposium
The competition is open to works in any genre, and on any theme, however, Aesthetica is particularly interested in works that reflect upon the ever changing world. Aesthetica is looking for pieces that challenge us – that redefine the parameters of contemporary art and compel audiences.

Prizes include £10,000 awarded to the Main Prize winner, £1,000 to the Emerging Prize Winner, as well as a group exhibition, and publications within an inspiring anthology for up to 125 shortlisted practitioners.
