Residencies at the Peace Castle are available from May 2024 to a wide range of artists and writers, including but not limited to visual artists, video/filmmakers, composers, performing artists, poets, musicians, designers, photographers, fiction- and non fiction writers. Residencies support the creation of new works that may be in a research or production stage.
The Peace Castle offers state of the art living and production spaces for artists and also hosts the Austrian Centre for Peace, a UN Peace Messenger organisation engaging in practical conflict transformation. It’s principles of pluralism and complexity form an inspiring complementary presence for artists in residence.
