ALAC’s Community Zine Issue #2: ‘til Death is accepting submissions from now until Friday, May 24 at 11:59pm PST! The zine has been on the back-burner for a while, but will be finished before the end of June. This zine, along with the revamped version of Issue #1: Chrysalis, will hopefully receive a small print run and be distributed at-cost to North American (continental US, CA, and MX) participating artists!
Artists are welcome to submit works of any medium/genre (including visual art, writing, and music) that follow the following theme: the cycles of life and death, both natural and supernatural.
Please keep in mind the following specifications:
- 1-5 works per person may be submitted, but not all may be included in the finished zine.
- All visual art/images should be 300 DPI and ideally CMYK, as this may have a small physical print run.
- Video art and music should be submitted as a QR code
- Writing should not be more that 2 pages in length per piece. If you would like to submit a longer work, please contact Mar (salmonbyte on discord) before uploading! We can probably work something out.
- The dimensions of the zine are 5.5 x 8.5 inches.
- Both new and old work are accepted. We prefer work is previously unpublished, but can publish previously-published work so long as the other publication is also okay with it!
Please note that this is unfortunately an unpaid opportunity. The published zine will be uploaded for free on the ALAC website upon completion. Additionally, the graphics used on the promotional image are placeholders, as is the title itself!
