For over 30 years, the Göpfersdorf local history association has been running a gallery in the Garbisdorf district of eastern Thuringia, which has hosted more than 150 exhibitions of paintings and graphics.
Our special intention is to promote and appreciate printmaking. For this reason, we have been awarding a scholarship since 2018, which allows artists to work, try out and experiment for four weeks in our printing workshop for letterpress and gravure printing. A presentation of the work created during the fellowship concludes the stay.
The scholarship is awarded to artists whose artistic work is the focus of their work.
It stipulates that the artist works and works on site during the fellowship.
It includes accommodation costs in a local guesthouse, a travel allowance of €400 and a material cost allowance of €500. A jury decides on the award.
