Artspace Bremerhaven

The interdisciplinary art festival artspace bremerhaven opens it´s doors at “Alte Bürger” for art and culture of all disciplines. We invite local, national, and international artists to use unorthodox locations to inspire people with your art.

We want you to give life to these places with your ideas. artspace bremerhaven turns streets, workshops, galleries, hallways, ateliers, apartments, commercial and empty spaces into stages, canvases, and spaces for artistic expression.

We look forward to seeing how you fill these unorthodox spaces with your work.

Every idea is welcome: artspace bremerhaven identifies itself as a voyage of discovery for visitors through interdisciplinary moments of art and a kaleidoscope of crossed borders, disruption of conventionality and newborn ideas.

Our model is the First Friday movement in Las Vegas, NV (www.ffflv.org). First Friday is a successful example of how art and culture enhance both the quality of living and the visual aesthetic of city life.

We are very proud to present artspace bremerhaven for the sixth year running.

ARTISTS AND PARTICIPANTS

artspace bremerhaven welcomes all artists and people involved in art. Inspire us with your ideas, not with your diplomas. You can apply as a solo artist or as a group. We look forward to your application.

SERVICES

Those selected receive an artist’s fee, monies toward materials, accommodations and travel expenses.
