Dom Art Residence: Fully Funded Residency in Spain

The art residency DOM runs once or twice a year, and the timeframe is one month. A total of 12 artists stay in the residency simultaneously.

Many social scientists state that we currently exist in an era where there are no more optimistic scenarios for the future, and we are only left with a variety of predictions perfectly consistent with the best of the best horror movie collection.

Are we capable of changing our future? We believe artists could play an important role in seeking answers to these incredibly ambitious and relevant questions.

• Residency is fully funded, transport and material expenses are covered
• The residency will coincide with a group exhibition featuring artwork by artists-in-residence. During the whole month, cultural and educational programs open to the public will accompany artists’ studio work, including events dedicated to the residency theme with the participation of guests from artistic and academic backgrounds. Some activities will be committed to researching the local context and cultural landscape.
