Fumetto International Comic Competition

This year Fumetto is collecting stories around the topic of wealth under the title “RICH”: What does wealth look like? Who is rich? People don’t talk about money. But: What you can’t talk about, you should draw about! Or is it ultimately not about money at all? But about abundant health, love and time? Are the inconspicuous little moments the ones that contain the wealth of an entire universe, or are our experiences and emotions the true mark of wealth?

We look forward to a rich harvest from the pens, quills and brushes of artists from near and far, to a cornucopia full of comics and a glittering and sparkling exhibition at the next Fumetto Comic Festival from April 5th – 13th, 2025!

Categories
○ Cat. 1: from 18 years
○ Cat. 2: 13 to 17 years
○ Cat. 3: up to 12 years
(The cut-off date for age is the closing date of December 31st, 2024)

Awards
Fumetto awards three prizes per category, as well as one prize for the best scenario among all nominations. Festival visitors choose an audience award. In category 1 cash prizes of CHF 1,111 (1st place), CHF 888 (2nd place) and CHF 666 (3rd place) will be awarded. The scenario prize is worth CHF 444. Non-cash prizes will be awarded in the 2nd and 3rd categories. The audience prize also receives a non-cash prize.
