    The 2024 International Interdisciplinary Art Conference (IIAC Seoul+) aims to lead the international integration of art and design through various forms of innovative projects and collaborations that cross the boundaries of art and design under the theme of the Digital Bauhaus. Therefore, we are calling for innovative and diverse works and projects.

    We invite you to participate and open new horizons in art and design. IIAC Seoul+ participants will be able to participate in a tour of Seoul’s art-related spaces and attractions, as well as Pangyo Media Art Valley. One selected participant will receive a cash prize and support for their next exhibition.

    In addition, all submitted papers, posters, and artworks will be compiled and included in the 2024 IIAC Seoul+ book, which will be published in December 2024.

    SUBMISSION DEADLINE

    2024.05.01. – 07.15.

    SUBMISSION TYPES

    For all applicants, it is required to complete the Application Form.

    For poster presentation applicants, it is mandatory to submit a presentation paper in the requested format along with a resume.

    For artwork or performance applicants, an exhibition proposal, resume, and portfolio are mandatory for submission.

    For immersive sound applicants, an audio file must be sent along with your application, and it must be uploaded in stereo format (choose one format: mp3, AIFF, WAV).

    Resumes and portfolios can be written in any format. Portfolios must be submitted in PPT or PDF format, and website or web-based portfolios can be additionally submitted.

    All documents must be written in English, and for Korean applicants, a Korean version must be submitted additionally.

    SELECTION CRITERIA

    Works/performances or research that demonstrate an integrated perspective of art and design relevant to the theme of the Digital Bauhaus.

    Or Works/performances or research that respect the values and spirit of the Digital Bauhaus as presented by IIAC Seoul+, while also reflecting a new integration of art and technology to present contemporary artistic expressions

    Design, exhibition and performance that propose a sustainable world and evolution.

    Designs and artistic works for exhibitions and performances that propose a sustainable world and evolution.

    For technology-based works/performances, technical stability and feasibility of production and execution are essential.

    SUBMISSION METHOD

    Compress the files you wish to submit into a single folder and send it to the email nmara.apply@gmail.com.

    Title the compressed file as ‘2024 IIAC Seoul+_ Applicant(team) Name’.

    Submitted materials will undergo evaluation, and those selected will receive separate notification via email in July.

    Upon selection, participants must pay a Registration Fee of $500 (for undergraduate/graduate students $300) to complete the registration process.

    Submitted documents will not be returned.
