Istanbul Photo Awards

Applications are now open for the İstanbul Photo Awards 2025, an international contest where the photos that define the world agenda compete.

Organized by Anadolu Agency (Anadolu Ajansı) for the 11th consecutive year, the contest aims to promote press photography globally.

Single News

All news related, single image applications. Only 1 image can be submitted per application. Photographers may apply 4 different images.

Story News

All news related image series applications. 10 images must be submitted per application. Photographers may apply 2 different stories.

Single Sports

All sports related, single image applications. Only 1 image can be submitted per application. Photographers may apply 4 different images.

Story Sports

All sports related image series applications. 10 images must be submitted per application. Photographers may apply 2 different stories.

Single Nature & Environment

All nature and environment related, single image applications. Only 1 image can be submitted per application. Photographers may apply 4 different images.

Story Nature & Environment

Single Portrait

PRIZES

*Single News 1st prize winner will be nominated as “Photo of the Year”, the laureate receives 6.000 USD in total.       CATEGORIES FIRSTSECONDTHIRD

Applications are free and open between 18 Nov. 2024 – 10 Jan. 2025 at 23:59 (UTC+3) İstanbul time.  

 Photographs contain the relevant and correct information. Submitted photos must be taken in 2024 (between 1 Jan. 2024- 31 Dec. 2024).

   Photographer has the liability for providing accurate personal information like name, age, company etc. besides the image info like date, location etc..
