Submissions for Jackson’s Art Prize 2025 are now open! Enter before 25th February 2025.
Now celebrating its tenth year, Jackson’s internationally renowned art prize continues to recognise the work of hundreds of fine artists year after year. Artists working in painting, drawing, and printmaking, of all ages and abilities are encouraged to enter up to five artworks.
This year sees 23 awards, an exciting Guest Judging Panel, an extended longlist and shortlist, more recognised entries than ever, and an early bird entry price of just £5. Read on for more details on this year’s competition, and bookmark this page for future reference.
Awards and Prizes
There are 23 awards to be won, including eight Material Awards sponsored by notable brands, a Student and Amateur Award, the People’s Choice Award, six Judge’s Choice Awards selected by our Guest Judging Panel, and five Jackson’s Choice Awards and the First Prize selected by the Jackson’s Judging Panel.

Judging Rounds
- This year we look forward to introducing the Extended Longlist, which recognises up to 4,000 entries that pass through the first round of judging.
- 1,000 of those artworks will pass through to the Longlist.
- 100 will then be chosen to create the Shortlist.
- 60 artworks from the shortlist will be invited to exhibit.

Entry Fees
- £5 early bird entry | 25th November – 31st December
- £6.50 discounted entry | 1st January – 18th February
- £7 full price entry | 19th – 25th February
Our mission is to support artists by creating opportunities, celebrating their work, and fostering a thriving creative community. Jackson’s Art Prize operates without profit. Every entry fee goes directly toward covering running costs, the prize fund, and exhibitions.
Exhibitions
We look forward to exhibiting a selection of shortlisted works at the Affordable Art Fair on Hampstead Heath for the sixth year.
Following that, we will exhibit a larger selection of the shortlist at Bankside Gallery in central London for the third year.

FAQs
What are the entry criteria?
We accept:
- Paintings
- Drawings
- Original Prints
We do not accept:
- Three-dimensional/sculptural work
- Digital, computer manipulated, or AI art
- Pure photography
- Artwork of an inappropriate or offensive subject matter
- Digital prints e.g. giclee
Do I have to submit a new artwork?
No, submitting a new work is not mandatory, but it is encouraged. Your entry/entries should reflect your current or lifelong body of work.
Is there a size limit?
No, you may enter a 2D artwork of any size. However, artworks over 2m wide are not guaranteed to be invited to exhibit due to space restrictions and will have to be evaluated when the other exhibitors are confirmed.
