General information
Kaunas Photography Gallery residency was established in 2012. It provides a great opportunity for persons working in the field of photography to develop ideas and projects within a fully supportive working environment. In addition, residents often bring a unique outsider’s perspective to the subject of Kaunas and its environment.
Successful applicants will be given access to Lithuanian photography archives, a library of photographic publications and direct contact with Lithuanian photographers and the most relevant arts institutions. As we accept very few residents at a time, this enables a unique experience where introductions and assistance are specifically adapted to the residents’ own interests and practices.
Deadline for residency applications: 24 March 2024.
Dates and duration of residencies: From 1 to 4 weeks between 1 April and 20 December 2024.
Please email your application form to info@kaunasgallery.lt by 24 March 2024. Due to an expected high number of applications, only selected applicants will be notified.
