The concept of Melting Walls series of exhibitions, comes from the idea to open up opportunities to present and engage diverse audiences into an anthropologic perspective for a creative experimental walk.
Melting Walls will be a series of experimental video installations, exhibitions that will include a site specific artwork made by invited artists, and will be accompanied by experimental projections made from collected images, videos & sounds received from different spaces around the world.
Listening, seeing the juxtapositions of different collected forms of audio-visual information, in my opinion will open up opportunities to present collective memories in an structural – experimental way.
Application:
For who would like to participate, I recommend to collect if possible, sounds and (images – videos 16:9) diverse, contrasted, fragmented – repetitive elements (recreative or noisy) from their environments and try to capture more than 4 repetitive elements, like: sunrises, sunsets, trees, diverse objects, house numbers, eyes, ears, etc…
To apply, send your set of images, audio and video files to: murmurcontemporary@gmail.com
All the selected materials will be credited.
