Soi Books came about from years of making documentary films and commercials. We’d cover topics, subcultures, ideas, stories and turn them into films. Some of our favourite films we made include Bassweight: A Dubstep Documentary, Rackgaki: Japanese Graffiti, Soka Afrika, which looked at human rights issues and immigration from parts of Africa to Europe, and Foul Play which explored corruption in Asian football.
Do you draw monsters or beasts or any crazy characters? Do you want to get published in an end-of-year Monsters and Beasts illustration journal? Submit your monsters and beasts to an illustrated guidebook of the world’s most interesting, crazy characters. Successful applicants will be published in a well-distributed book, get a copy of the book and be part of the subsequent exhibition of Monsters and Beats.

How To Apply
To make a submission please join the Soi Community, Head over to the MONSTERS AND BEASTS space, and upload directly through our Online Form.
Deadline for Entry September 17th, 2023. Successful applicants will be shared/emailed/messaged and promoted via social media by November 1st, 2023.
Eligibility: Open to all. To submit contributions, you’ll have to join the SOi Community. Link below.
What you get: Publication, marketing support, the exhibition of your work and copy of the publication.
Fee: Free to submit work; membership fee for Soi Books is £8 p/m or £72 p/y
