Small-Time Project (STP) is a curatorial initiative run part-time by two artists. We’re thrilled to announce an ambitious new opportunity for emerging artists and curators: STP Solo/Duo Show Open Call 2025 in central London. Please review the details carefully to understand the key requirements.
STP aims to support emerging artists and curators by offering the chance to present a Solo/Duo Show in an exceptional space. For this project, we will divide the STP’s current project space into three sections, each approximately 300-500 square meters, hosting three separate Solo/Duo Shows concurrently.
We encourage artists and curators to engage critically with the concepts of “reimagine,” “site-specific,” and “repurpose.” As we continue developing our curatorial focus, we hope you’ll join us and contribute to shaping our line of research.
Eligibility
This open call is for emerging artists and curators with no more than one prior experience with Solo/Duo shows. If you are a curator, please submit the application together with the artist(s). Curators will be applying for the same amount of space as the artist (one room).
Please note that this project will require a significant time commitment from artists and curators. Participants will need to produce a show containing a body of “new”, previously unshown work and participate in activities such as the opening, marketing, invigilation, and other public-facing programs.
You may apply as:
- An artist or duo of artists
- A curator with one or two artists
- A collective, depending on the nature of the work produced.
