  • In Solidarity
The Summer Academy is a place of solidarity encounters and international exchange between artists, cultural workers, and others. For the first time, 20 full scholarships, enabled by a scholarship from the Province of Salzburg, are available for anyone interested who is currently fleeing or seeking asylum in Europe. They cover course fees, travel, accommodation, and an allowance
  • and the following special scholarship

The Bisi Silva Scholarship is dedicated to the founding director of the CCA (Center for Contemporary Art) in Lagos, Nigeria, who died, far too early, in January 2019. Through her initiative, co-operation with the Summer Academy has been carried on since 2012, awarding several students from African countries scholarships for participation in our courses. The Society of Friends has now established a scholarship dedicated to Bisi Silva, one of the most important figures in the African art world. The number of scholarships annually depends on the sum raised. A scholarship covers fees as well as travel and accommodation expenses for students. The nomination process occurs in cooperation with the CCA

Please note:

In case of cancellation at short notice or premature departure a cancellation fee of € 100.– will be charged if no substitute is available
