Both residencies are aimed at artists, writers, curators, cultural managers, filmmakers, architects, and/or designers whose practice has a critical commitment to and towards the cultural sector in which it is developed. The purpose of both residencies is to encourage exploration and collective doubt, offering for four (4) weeks a moment and space to rethink the possibilities of exhibition, circulation, production, and development of material and theoretical projects while immersed in an experience tailored to the local cultural ecosystem.

Located in the heart of Bogota’s financial district, in one of the most iconic buildings of modern architecture in the country, this residency program is an ideal artistic incubator, designed to encourage and invite exchange between local and international cultural agents. In each edition of the program, a select group of 5 to 8 creators will share space and creative processes on a floor of offices and a penthouse with 360-degree panoramic views, where exhibitions, talks, and events that will connect them to the local scene will take place. Participants will be immersed in an intense program of activities that includes seminars, screenings, studio visits, visits to exhibitions, and events with invited artists, thus exploring and expanding their practices through an enriching dialogue with the vibrant cultural context of the Colombian capital. The residency will conclude with an exhibition, which will serve as a platform for the socialization and exhibition of the work developed during the program.

𝓛𝓞𝓜𝓐 𝓢𝓔𝓡𝓔𝓝𝓐
This new edition of our residency program takes place in Boyacá, one of the most emblematic towns of the Cundiboyacense highlands. The residency takes place in a colonial-style house with three internal courtyards and surrounded by large green areas that offer a unique and welcoming environment, ideal for exploring creative processes of all kinds. There, the participants will have access to a large workshop area equipped for large-scale work, as well as 24/7 access to a 5-hectare complex in the Oicatá Valley, ideal for agricultural work. During the residency, participants will have field trips and excursions to locations that will offer them a wide range of creative possibilities, from lagoons and deserts to artisan workshops and gastronomic events. They will also have studio visits with cultural agents (curators/artists) from the region, which will allow participants to enrich their experience and their body of work dynamically and tune with the Colombian landscape.
