Wavelength Space in Chattanooga TN is seeking show proposals for our exhibition programming for the month of April in 2024. We are accepting proposals for group OR solo shows for either our entire gallery space OR just our front gallery space (see the walls pictured in the link below). Artists who are locally, regionally, and nationally based (in the U.S.) are eligible to apply. International artists may accompany group show proposals but are not eligible for solo show proposals.
Other Eligibility Requirements:
Group show proposals should contain at least one artist who is locally or regionally based in proximity to Chattanooga, TN who can be present at Wavelength for install and deinstall.
This call is open to works of all media. However, Wavelength does not currently provide projection or screening equipment. Artists working in digital media must provide their own equipment for the duration of the show.
Artists are responsible for all shipping and delivery costs associated with exhibition making.
Wavelength is an artist-run gallery space. While we often show works that are NFS, we seek to strike a balance between showing experimental and commercially viable works. Wavelength has a 50% commission on all works sold.
Wavelength Space is committed to celebrating a diverse array of artists and committed to cultivating a diverse audience. We welcome proposals that feature artists of all identities, ages, races, nationalities, and backgrounds. As always, artists who are not selected for this call will be considered for future opportunities.
