Wellspringwords is a Literary Anthology, Podcast, and Creative Enrichment Studio that supports humans with Sacred inner-world cultivation through the magic and power of words and embodiment.
This is a space dedicated to holistic healing and liberation through narrative reclamation — mind, body, heart, and Soul. We know that the world needs authentic creative expression for humanity to come to a harmonious state.
We also know that AI and robots will not facilitate the organic connection, healing expression, and transformative creation human beings are spiritually designed to create. We are proudly an AI-free zone. Wellspringwords is here to help us remember, viscerally and deeply, that our creative power and wisdom are inherent to us — this creative power and wisdom need to be expressed, not only for our individual benefit, but for the health of the human species and its evolution.
Wellspringwords Literary Anthology | Issue 2: “Patience”
In this Fall/Winter issue, we are exploring the patience required in crafting ourselves and the lives we consciously choose. Here are some questions to consider as you prepare to potentially submit your writing for this issue:
- What is it like to cultivate an open heart?
- What space do you make in your life to feel all of you?
- Explore the continuum of patience and action.
- How does patience manifest in your artistic expression?
- Is patience a virtue, yielding fruits, or a vice, the poison that eats us as we sit with it?
- We’re excited to welcome poetry, memoir/personal narrative, fiction, and experimental writing, all about what happens in your life and interior world when on the journey of self-creation.
We want to read about your experience of journeying, of the role of patience along the journey, and all that occurs in your material, psychic, and embodied experience as you’re journeying — with patience — along your one, unique life. We’ll choose a few pieces from each genre to publish in Issue 2, our Fall/Winter issue.
WE ARE ALSO WELCOMING VISUAL ART SUBMISSIONS FOR THE COVER UNDER THE SAME THEME ABOVE.
We are excited to consider any rendering of visual art for the Issue 2 cover: photography, painting, collage, textile art, figure art, sculpture, experimental art, intuitive art — let your authentic creative power burn bright.
For the cover, we’ll choose the artwork that best encapsulates the issue’s theme and the chosen writing for the issue. We may also select a few artworks that inspire us and showcase them within Issue 2, our Fall/Winter issue — this will be dependent on the number and quality of submissions we receive.
