Organizer Information:
Bethany Arts Community (BAC). BAC offers residencies to emerging and established artists for the development of both new works and works-in-progress, creating an environment where artists from different disciplines can work in community.
Title & Description:
Applications are open for the 2026 BAC Fall Multidisciplinary Residency.
This two-week residency surrounds artists with uninhibited creativity, allowing them to work alongside other residents and local studio artists. A unique and mandatory component of this residency is Community Programming: each artist is asked to develop and facilitate a Community Program related to their residency plan to engage with the local community in Ossining and Westchester County.

Multidisciplinary. (Visual arts, sculpture, writing, theater, dance, music, film, performance art, and more).
Eligibility:
- Who: Emerging and established artists working across any discipline and medium.
- Age Limit: Applicants MUST be 21 years or older.
- Duration: Artists must be able to stay in residence for the entire length of the residency (September 22 – October 6, 2026).
- Group Size: Artist team applications will only be considered for groups of up to 3 members.
Program Benefits & Awards:
- Stipend: A $450 total stipend ($225 per week) awarded upon completion of the residency.
- Accommodation & Workspace: Room & board provided, along with a private studio conducive to the artist’s medium and/or project.
- Meals & Dietary Strict Constraint: 3 basic meals a day are provided. Note: BAC is ONLY able to accommodate vegan, plant-based, vegetarian, dairy-free, and/or gluten-free diets. * (Note: Artists are responsible for their own transportation to/from BAC and any supplies/materials needed for their practice).
Application Requirements:
Incomplete applications or submissions that exceed outlined content limits will not be considered. Applicants must provide:
- One Letter of Recommendation (LOR): Submitted directly by the recommender via Submittable.
- One Reference: A contact for a reference (must be a different, non-familial person than the LOR writer). Both should be able to speak to your artistry, character, and integrity.
