Applications are open for the 3pts Artists & Makers Impact Fund.

This award offers direct funding to mid-career artists and makers who are actively building creative businesses. Funding may be used for materials, equipment, workspace costs, professional development, production expenses, or other needs that strengthen the artist's practice and business growth.

Visual Arts, Crafts, & Tangible Maker Businesses.

Eligibility:

  • Who: Mid-career artists with an established practice, 21 years of age or older. (Note: If applying as a duo or collective, only one individual should submit the application on the group's behalf).
  • Business Registration: Applicants MUST be based in the United States and have their business legally registered in the U.S. (Hobbyists just starting out are NOT eligible).
  • Tangible Goods Rule: The applicant must produce a tangible object, artwork, or good. Work that is intangible will be rejected.
  • Exclusions: Food-based products and culinary crafts are strictly NOT eligible.
  • Promotional Agreement: Applicants must agree to allow 3pts to use their business name, likeness, and application responses for marketing and promotional purposes on the 3pts website and Instagram.
  • Newsletter: Applicants must subscribe to the 3pts newsletter for updates.

Program Benefits & Awards:

  • Award: One single grant of $3,500 will be awarded during the 2026 cycle.
  • Payment Details: The award money will be delivered via Zelle. The winner must be able to provide a W-9 and an invoice to receive the prize.

  • Application Fee: $10.00 (Non-refundable).

Application Requirements:

  • System Warning / Strict Constraint: The online Typeform portal WILL NOT save your progress. It is highly recommended to prepare your answers ahead of time and paste them in.
  • Required Questions:
    1. Brief story of your creative business (250 words max).
    2. Steps taken to develop your business beyond day-to-day production, including self-guided education, classes, or community participation (600 words max).
    3. Vision for the future of your creative and business practice (250 words max).
