AiR 351 is an independent international non-profit organization based in Cascais, Portugal. It serves as a creative hub dedicated to fostering contemporary Art practices through its international Residency program, connecting residents with a global network of artists, curators, and collectors.

Ongoing Open Call: AiR 351 International Residency Program in Cascais

The AiR 351 Ongoing Open Call is a professional development Residency designed to provide artists and curators with the time and space for creative Research and professional networking. The program emphasizes dialogue and integration into the local Culture through a structured schedule of studio visits and field trips.

This is a Self Fund Residency where participants become members of the AiR 351 Residency Association. Successful applicants pay a monthly Membership contribution to cover the program costs and Studio access.

Eligibility

  • Open to international and national visual artists and curators at any career stage.
  • Candidates must be proficient in spoken and written English.
  • Must not be enrolled in another Residency or academic program during the residency period.

  • Motivation letter (max 500 words) including a statement of intent.
  • Curriculum Vitae.
  • Portfolio (max 10MB).
  • Optional: Up to 3 letters of recommendation.
