Organizer Information

The Fondation Alice Bailly is a Swiss grant-giving foundation established according to the wishes of the artist Alice Bailly (1872–1938), a key figure in early 20th-century modernism associated with movements such as Cubism, Dada, and Fauvism. The foundation’s mission is to support young visual artists and to preserve and promote Alice Bailly’s legacy. Since 1951, it has awarded an annual bursary to support artists active in painting, drawing, sculpture, or printing arts, either to fund a study trip or offer occasional financial relief. It also facilitates exhibition opportunities for bursary recipients at prestigious venues such as the Musée Jenisch in Vevey.
