ARD Art Institution Residency
Short Description:
Our ARD International Residency Program is a process-based, one to three month artist residency that includes talks, open studios, workshops, and exhibitions by resident practitioners. We receive international artists from various domains in specially equipped studios to research, develop and present their artistic projects which also intersect with other parallel events and programs held in ARD, on an ongoing basis. Artists can test and develop their skills and experiences by living and working in a dynamic environment, allowing them to network with the public.
The ARD Team provides an introduction to the local art scene, artistic assistance by a member of the ARD Team, technical assistance, contact to local art materials, interactive studio visits with local artists and curators, visits and tours to heritage sites, a talk/workshop conducted by the artist in residency, an end of residency exhibition/open studio by the artist in residency, a workshop or portfolio review and mentorship program conducted by the artist in residency.
