The Public Art Program is run by the City of Florence, Oregon, a municipal government on the Oregon Coast that integrates visual art into public spaces to enrich community life and cultural vibrancy. The program is supported by the Florence Public Arts Committee (PAC) — a volunteer committee tasked with developing and maintaining the city’s public art plan and collection. Art Exposed ReVision Florence 2026‑2028 — Call for Artists
A biennial rotating outdoor public art exhibition that selects large‑scale, site‑specific sculptures for display along a 0.7‑mile stretch of Highway 101 in Florence, Oregon. The goal is to activate public space with creative works that enhance local identity, stimulate community engagement, and offer high visibility for artists. Selected artworks will be installed in public view from May 2026 through 2028, promoting interaction between artworks, residents, and visitors.Categories

Eligibility
- Open to emerging, mid‑career, and established artists.
- Applicants must be 18 years or older.
- International, national, and regional applicants are encouraged.
- Artwork must be original, site‑appropriate, and able to withstand outdoor coastal conditions.
Program Benefits & Awards
- Stipend: Selected artists receive a $1,500 USD stipend for the two‑year exhibition period.
- Public Exposure: Artwork will be displayed prominently along Oregon Coast’s Highway 101, a high‑traffic public route.
- Opportunity for Sale: Artwork is made available for public sale throughout the exhibition period, with 30% of proceeds retained by the City to support the Public Art Program.
- Promotion & Outreach: The City produces marketing materials highlighting selected works and locations.
