Art Scene West is a contemporary art & events gallery located in the Marina District of downtown San Diego, CA. We host a range of exhibitions throughout the year inviting artists from all over the world to submit for a chance at gallery exposure and professional recognition. Inside the gallery we also host painting events for people to spend extended time inside the gallery enjoying a creative experience.
Title & Description:
Modern Media invites artists worldwide to submit work for this curated exhibition celebrating innovative and non-traditional approaches in bringing their visions to life. As society evolves, so do the ways artists express themselves. We want to showcase that bold, experimental, and diverse approach that reflects today’s creative spirit. This call is for all artists who use acrylic, spray paint, collage, digital art, resin, wood, mixed media, photography, glass, fiber, or other non-traditional methods.

Awards & Benefits:
Artists accepted into the exhibition get a gallery exhibition lasting 54 days that is open to the public. Artists also get featured on our website and social media channels as well as a 60% sales commission if their work sells.

- Artists may enter up to 4 works, or a total of 4 images, per submission.
- Each entry is juried individually.
- Multiple submissions are allowed.
- Artworks are juried according to their originality, overall quality, and relevance to the exhibition theme, as determined by submitted images, compared to all other submissions.
