Arte Laguna Prize is an international contemporary art contest that welcomes artists of any age, country, and artistic background, without gender differences and with a free theme. The contest offers many opportunities to the participants, who can increase the network, get global visibility and get access to precious resources to develop their career.
With 18 years of history, Arte Laguna Prize gives artists the opportunity to: ● exhibit in Venice (Italy) at the Arsenale Nord; ● cash prize of €10,000 ; ● join a large network of collaborations around the world with Special Prizes; ● get International free visibility; ● sell on the online platform artelaguna.world;
COMPETITION CATEGORIES The Prize is open to the following artistic disciplines: painting, sculpture and installation, photographic art, video art and short films, performance and acting (stage and film), digital art, digital graphics and cartoon, environmental and land art, urban art and street art, art design.
THE EXHIBITION VENUE A symbol of the power of the “Serenissima” Republic, the Arsenale Nord of Venice is today a completely restored area. With its 4,000 square meters, the evocative spaces of the Arsenale Nord provide the ideal setting for displaying and promoting the finest creations of the contemporary art scene. The finalist artists will have the unique opportunity to exhibit in the iconic space of the Arsenale Nord of Venice from November 16 to December 08, 2024.
CONDITIONS OF PARTICIPATION To apply to the competition it’s necessary to login to artelaguna.world web portal, create the reserved area, fill in the profile and pay the entry fee. The works to submit can be uploaded also later, until the final applications’ deadline July 31, 2025. From the reserved area, artists can:
- submit the works for Arte Laguna Prize 20
- publish and sell works on Arte Laguna World
On the welcome page, artists must check the summary of their works. It is also possible to register by e-mail by sending the following form to info@artelagunaprize.com. Application Form, 20th Edition 2025 → ENTRY FEES
- €97,6 for artists under 35 (born after January 1, 1990);
- €122 for artists over 35 (born before December 31, 1989)
Artists under 35 must attach a copy of their ID when applying. Prices indicated include tax. The fee allows to submit 5 works also in different sections. Each additional work, following the fifth, costs 24,40 € per work. Artists must keep a copy of the payment. The entry fee is not refundable.
