Artist Grant is an organization dedicated to supporting and funding artists. They provide a simple, accessible funding opportunity for visual artists worldwide, aiming to recognize and promote creative efforts through financial support and social media exposure.

Applications are open for the Artist Grant (March 2026 Cycle).

This program awards a $1,200 USD unrestricted grant to one visual artist three times a year.

The grant process is designed to be minimal and artist-friendly: no grant proposal is required. The organization seeks a cohesive body of work that is well-crafted, well-presented, and communicates its viewpoint clearly and creatively.

In addition to the cash award, the organization features grantees and selected applicants (with permission) on their website and social media channels to celebrate and promote their work.

Visual Arts (Painting, drawing, sculpture, ceramics, printmaking, photography, mixed media, installation, and new/alternative visual art forms).

(Note: Film/video, music, theater, and dance are NOT accepted).

Eligibility:

  • Who: Visual artists aged 18+ worldwide.

  • Restrictions: Past winners are not eligible to apply again.

  • Criteria: Work must not be derivative and should demonstrate a clear artistic voice.

Application Requirements:

Applicants must email submit@artistgrant.org with EITHER:

  1. A link to your website.

  2. OR 3–5 images of your artwork (JPG, PNG, or PDF) and a resume/CV or brief bio.

  • Note: You must indicate in your email if you grant permission to share your name and artwork on social media.

  • Payment of the application fee is made separately via Stripe or PayPal (if payment name differs from email name, note this in the email).
