Title & Description:
Applications are now open for the Artist in Residence: Ecologies of Migration.
Taking place over 35 days during Summer 2026 or Winter 2026/27, this program offers two funded residencies for artists working collaboratively with communities. The organizers explicitly invite proposals from artists, duos, or collectives who have lived experience of migration, come from a refugee background, or have experienced forcible displacement.
Projects should creatively respond to the theme by exploring how shifting climates and global instability affect human and "more-than-human" populations. The residency aims to amplify perspectives that are often overlooked and grounds discussions of migration in the communities most affected by it.
