Short Description
Arts to Hearts Project presents the Emerging Woman Artist Award biannually to celebrate and uplift young, emerging women artists from all over the world. This award is designed specifically for young and up-and-coming women artists to provide them with a fresh, open platform to showcase their work. The platform specifically sheds light on the undiscovered works of artists from around the world. With each round of the award, we aim not only to curate a fresh, exciting batch of artists and award winners but also to create further resources in the form of funds, exhibits, access to our global network, and books to help them grow their art career.
Theme: Life
As the year draws to a close, we are invited to reflect on the journey that is life—its fleeting moments, its quiet wonders, and its profound complexities. Life is a collection of experiences: the laughter shared with loved ones, the silent moments of introspection, the challenges we face, and the small victories that shape who we are. It is in the relationships we build, the places we inhabit, the memories we carry, and the dreams that propel us forward.
Life is deeply personal, yet universally understood. It can be joyful or sorrowful, chaotic or calm, ordinary or extraordinary. It can manifest in people, nature, objects, emotions, or even in spaces and moments that are felt rather than seen. Each person experiences life differently, and each artist interprets it in a unique way.
This theme is open to interpretation. Artists are encouraged to explore their own vision of life—to capture the moments, feelings, stories, and rhythms that define existence. Your work could reflect a memory, a dream, an emotion, a passage of time, a personal journey, or a universal truth. It could be literal, abstract, figurative, or conceptual. The essence of this theme is flexibility and expression—there are no limits to what life can mean to you and how you choose to show it.
“Life” is an invitation to observe, to feel, and to express. It is about exploring the beauty, the depth, the struggles, and the joys that make existence meaningful. Through your art, share your perspective, your emotions, and your story, and let us experience the many faces of life as seen through your eyes.
Eligibility
To ensure inclusivity and celebrate the diversity of voices, the eligibility criteria for the Arts to Hearts Magazine are as follows:
- Who Can Apply: The awards are open to all women, binary, and non-binary artists from around the world. We welcome artists from diverse backgrounds, perspectives, and experiences to share their creativity with us.
- Age Requirement: Applicants must be 18 years or older. There is no upper age limit, as we believe it’s never too early or too late to make your mark in the art world.
- Media: Artists working across all media and disciplines are encouraged to apply. Whether you specialize in painting, digital art, sculpture, photography, mixed media, or other forms of creative expression, this opportunity is for you.
- Career Stage: This platform is open to artists at all stages of their career—whether you’re emerging, mid-career, or established. Your voice matters, and this is your chance to share it.
- Exhibition History: There are no restrictions regarding prior exhibition history or accolades. We welcome artists who are just beginning to showcase their work as well as those with extensive portfolios.
