The Pulitzer Arts Foundation invites applications for a full-time Associate Curator to lead and develop artist commissions, exhibitions, and interdisciplinary public programs. Position & Tasks
The Associate Curator will:- Conceive, plan, and execute artist commissions, exhibitions, and special projects that activate the museum campus.
- Collaborate with the Senior Curator on public art initiatives, site-specific activations, and temporary installations.
- Co-develop and manage curatorial convenings, symposia, and study days connecting thought leaders and stakeholders.
- Produce interdisciplinary public programs, including talks, panels, performances, concerts, and screenings.
- Conduct and supervise research supporting exhibitions, artist commissions, and programs.
- Ensure accuracy and accessibility of interpretive materials, marketing content, and educational resources.
- Manage budgets, timelines, and resources in collaboration with internal departments.
- Represent the museum publicly, fostering relationships with curators, galleries, artists, and cultural organizations.
- Supervise Public Programs staff and coordinate logistics for site visits, symposia, and artist engagements.
- Participate actively in professional discourse within the museum and arts sectors.
