Title & Description
Baer Residency 2026 – Iceland
The Baer Residency offers artists a two-week immersive experience from Monday, July 6, through Sunday, July 19, 2026, designed to balance independent creative work with the inspiration of Icelandic landscapes. Participants explore their personal artistic themes while interacting with a diverse group of international artists. The residency fosters both introspection and exchange, giving participants access to well-equipped studios, the tranquility of rural Iceland, and informal opportunities to share their work. At the end of the session, residents may choose to participate in an optional informal studio exhibition. The program encourages artists to engage with the surrounding nature, local culture, and fellow residents while focusing on their creative practice.
