Since 2017, the BBA Gallery, Berlin, has been working with and empowering ‘emerging’ to ‘mid-career’ artists from all over the world. These terms don’t really matter of course, what matters is that you have someone on your side; to champion you and your work. A gallery that will open those ever so stubborn doors of the industry, introduce you to who’s who inside and share your artistic vision with the rest of the world.The annual prizes that you’ll find on this site may just be the start of your journey with us. We seriously consider all entries for gallery representation – from the longlisted to winners. You can see proof of this on our gallery website, and even if we don’t choose to represent you, we aim to work with you after your solo show the best we can.As artists ourselves, we get that the struggle is real. Before BBA, we started an artist-run project space and formed our ethos: To seek out talented, passionate artists from anywhere in the world and give them a platform and all the nurturing they need.

Our highly regarded Photography Prize is held annually and is open to all fine art photographers over 18, no matter their background. A jury of influential professionals looks for the most innovative of concepts, beautiful aesthetics and unique approaches within the medium. If you’re shortlisted, your work will be showcased in a group exhibition across 3 floors at the iconic Kühlhaus Berlin. And if you’re one of the winners? You will be rewarded with a solo show at BBA Gallery, cash prizes, plus so much more!See the whole picture

Anniversary 2025 Edition – bigger than everIt’s our birthday! The 10th edition of the annual BBA Artist Prize is now accepting artist entries for our biggest exhibition ever. An open call for up-and-coming artists of any age or educational background, we accept any medium as long as the work is amazing. Our panel of industry professionals are looking for artists who show professionalism, great potential and well-executed work. A selected group will get to exhibit with us across 3 floors at the iconic Kühlhaus Berlin.
