Organizer Information

Marignana Arte is a contemporary art gallery based in Venice, Italy. Since its founding in 2013, the gallery has been committed to promoting Italian and international contemporary artists through exhibitions, publications, and collaborations. In addition to its main venue, Marignana Arte also manages Spazio Berlendis and Marignana Project, two spaces dedicated to artistic and cultural projects such as exhibitions, performances, artist residencies, and multidisciplinary events.

Title & Description

Berlendis Prize 2026 – Stay Human! Utopias and Dystopias in the Digital Age
Marignana Arte presents the first edition of the Berlendis Prize, which invites young artists to reflect on the concept of “progress” in the digital age through a critical and creative lens. The open call is centered on themes such as artificial intelligence, climate crisis, inequality, identity, and ethics. 25 selected finalists will participate in a group exhibition at Spazio Berlendis (Venice) from February 21 to March 29, 2026.

Eligibility

  • Artists of any nationality, aged 18–30, residing or based in Italy.
