bilding is an art and architecture school offering a free creative space for children and young adults (ages 4 to 19). In the bilding workshops, participants work together with professionals in fine arts, sculpting, architecture, graphic design, film, and new media.
Title & Description:
Applications are open for the "bildingship" Working Fellowship.
This fellowship allows young artists to use the bilding space for their own artistic work while actively engaging in the school's regular workshop program. The aim is to impart artistic processes directly to children and adolescents based on the artist’s on-site work. During the fellowship, the artist will have the opportunity to present their own work in an exhibition on site.

Eligibility:
- Who: Artists from the fields of art and architecture.
- Age Limit: Applicants must be up to 31 years of age.
- Language: Must have language skills in German and/or English.
- Interests: Must have a strong interest in working artistically with children and young adults.
- Visa/Degree Requirements (Non-EU Only): Non-EU citizens must have a completed art degree from a recognized university in order to obtain the required Austrian work visa.
Program Benefits & Awards:
- Workspace & Materials: Unrestricted access to the bilding workshop, ample outdoor spaces, on-site materials, and workshop equipment for the artist's own practice.
- Accommodation: Free accommodation provided in Innsbruck.
- Employment & Compensation: The fellowship includes part-time employment (approximately 10 hours per week) paying €500 per month. (Note: All other living expenses must be covered by the artist).

- Letter of Motivation: (Max 1 page).
- Project Proposal: A short description of projects planned during the residency (Max 1 page).
- Portfolio: Must include your CV, date of birth, and artistic works (Max 10 pages).
