Short Description
The Bucheon City of Literature office is delighted to announce the launch of the 2025 Bucheon Residency Program, open to writers, poets, translators, and graphic novelists who have at least one published work and are currently engaged in creative writing.
This program aims to foster international exchange, enhance mobility for literary and graphic artists, and provide a unique environment to develop new work while connecting with Korean readers and the local community.
Eligibility
We warmly invite writers, translators and comic/graphic novel creators affiliated with a UNESCO Creative City of Literature(outside of South korea) to apply for this exciting opportunity.
Submission Requirements
- Completed application form
- An excerpt from a published work(in original language or English, max. 2 pages)
- A short biography or curriculum vitae
- (Optional) A letter of recommendation

* Note: Entry visas are the responsibility of the selected reisdent. The Bucheon City of Literature Office will provide official document to support your visa application process, but cannot issue visas.
