CENTER, a nonprofit organization based in Santa Fe, New Mexico, has been supporting photographic and lens-based artists since 1994 by providing funding, exhibition opportunities, and career development programs. In 2025, CENTER is offering $16,000 in funding, a group exhibition at its new gallery and education hub, access to Review Santa Fe portfolio reviews, a featured publication in LENSCRATCH, professional development seminars, and more.

  • Early Discount Deadline: February 15, 2025
  • Final Submission Deadline: March 15, 2025 (11:59 PM MT)
  • Entry Fees:
    • Before February 15: Starting at $35 per category
    • After February 15: Fees increase by $10 per category
  • Membership Benefits: Applicants can join the Members Circle to receive discounted entry fees, free seminar access, and other perks.

 

Eligibility:

  • Open to photographers and lens-based artists worldwide.
  • Accepts work from all photographic processes, including video and photo-based mixed media.
  • Each award may have additional specific eligibility requirements.

 

Theme:

There is no set theme for the general call. Submissions may include conceptual, documentary, experimental, or traditional photographic works.

Special Award:

  • Me&Eve Award: Focuses on supporting female and LGBTQIA+ photographers aged 40 and over.

  2. Prepare your submission files (images, videos, or mixed media) and a project statement.
  3. Upload your application before the final deadline of March 15, 2025, at 11:59 PM MT.
