CENTER's PROJECT DEVELOPMENT GRANT

CENTER, a non-profit organization based in Santa Fe, New Mexico, has been supporting photographic and lens-based projects since 1994. The 2025 call offers $16,000 in funding, exhibition opportunities, portfolio reviews, publication features, and professional development. The Project Development Grant provides financial support for fine art, reportage, or documentary works-in-progress.

Application Fee: Starts at $35 before February 15; increases by $10 per category after.

Eligibility:

Open to photographers and lens-based artists worldwide.
Accepted works: All photographic processes, mixed media, and photo-based video projects.
Previously submitted works can be re-submitted, as jurors change annually.

Theme:

Fine art, reportage, or documentary works-in-progress.

High-quality image files of the project.
Video and multimedia accepted only for the Multimedia Storytelling Award and Review Santa Fe.

Selection Process:

Juror: Kristen Gaylord, Herzfeld Curator of Photography & Media Arts, Milwaukee Art Museum.
Selected works are reviewed by a new panel of jurors each year.
