Short Description
The Collioure Prize is a cultural prize that rewards three painters or draughtsmen each year whose work responds to a theme chosen by the members of the jury.
This call for applications aims to promote contemporary artistic creation, to anchor Collioure even more in its artistic history, to support artists in their approach, to give them visibility.
The artists will be welcomed in residence at the Hôtel des Roches Brunes and the Hôtel des Templiers. They will be exhibited at the gallery of the Museum of Collioure for two months and then at the Galerie Evermeille, the Hôtel des Templiers, the Hôtel des Roches Brunes.
The theme of the year 2026 is “LIGHTS”
Eligibility
The call for applications is open to all professional artists (Maison des artistes or holder of a SIRET number), without distinction of nationality, aged 18 and over.
- All painting techniques and drawings are accepted (oil, acrylic, watercolor…)
- The maximum dimensions of the artwork are 119/85 cm (A0 format).
- The proposed work will be an original work and must respect the theme of the year and be inspired by Collioure.
Submission Requirements
- A Portfolio with captioned works.
- An up-to-date Curriculum Vitae.
- A text describing their artistic approach for the theme of the year, a draft of the project in text form as well as sketches (800 words maximum).

Program Benefits & Awards
PRICE:
Two weeks in residence at the Hôtel des Roches Brunes from February 9 to 22, 2026: Accommodation, breakfasts, and dinners. (Transport is at the expense of the artist).
Remuneration: 1,500 euros (given at the end of the exhibition at the end of May 2026 by bank transfer).
Provision of the Museum’s gallery as a creative space during the residency. (The material is at the expense of the artist.)
SECOND AND THIRD PRIZES:
A week in residence at the Hôtel des Templiers from February 9 to 15, 2026: Accommodation, breakfasts and dinners (transport is at the expense of the artist).
Remuneration: 500 euros (given at the end of the exhibition at the end of May 2026 by bank transfer).
Provision of the upper Templar room as a creative space during the residency. (the material is at the expense of the artist).
This stay will be punctuated by meetings so that the artists can immerse themselves in Collioure and its history.
Exhibition in the studio/gallery of the Museum of Collioure
- Part of the exhibition will be devoted to the history of the Collioure Prize with old works, archives, photos. Another part will be devoted to the exhibition of the three works of the three artists produced during the residency as well as to their preparatory work.
- The Museum took charge of the tailoring, simple framing and hanging of the three works made during the residency.
- The work of the 1st Prize will be declined in grape format posters (50/65) and sold for the benefit of the association at the Tralala Galerie, the Galerie Evermeille, the Hôtel des Roches Brunes, the Hôtel des Templiers, and the Tourist Office.
- The winners will once again be accommodated for two nights in the same establishments as their residence, on the day and the day before the opening of the exhibition. (transport is at the expense of the artist)
Entry Fee
A contribution of 15 euros will be requested for the registration fee, to be paid into the account of the association Prix Collioure, by transfer FR76 1710 6000 3930 0246 9137 059.
