Short Description:
The art that is created today is how this time period will be viewed tomorrow. We want to make a difference in the lives of artists as well as a positive change in the world.
We are an online art gallery that can offer different benefits than a physical art gallery. We offer international exposure; works will be archived and can be viewed over and over, giving you constant exposure and building traffic to your website; there is no cost in transporting artwork and no risk of your work being damaged; and we are a commission free gallery!
Theme– “WATER” covers 71% of the Earth’s surface and is vital for all known forms of life. 96.5% of the Earth’s crust water is found in seas and oceans. Although the sea moderates the Earth’s climate and has important roles in the water, carbon, and nitrogen cycles, it is often viewed for its beauty, power, and life. We would like to see your interpretation of water.
Pay It Forward– We will be donating 10% of all entry fees from this show to The Water Project. The Water Project, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization unlocking human potential by providing sustainable water projects to communities in sub-Saharan Africa who suffer needlessly from a lack of access to clean water and proper sanitation. Application Requirements:
– Image should not exceed 2MB.
– Image should be in jpeg format.
– Image should not contain any frame, mat, or watermark.
– Image should be labeled as LastName-FirstName-TitleofArt.jpeg
– Image should be clear and in focus, this represents your work and it will be displayed / judged the same way it is received.
Eligibility:
All artists 18 and over may enter.
Program Benefits or Awards:
A Cash prize will be given to the Best of Show winner. Additionally, the Best of Show winner will be featured. His or her artwork will be on the cover of the show, and it will be largely displayed with an article about them and their work. The Best of Show winner will also receive a free one year Featured Artist Membership. Other winners will be featured and have similar recognition. All accepted works will be displayed with the artist’s name, title of work, and a link back to their website, or email address if they do not have a website.
Sales– All sales are conducted solely between the artist and the buyer. Colors of Humanity Art Gallery does not handle any part of the sale or collect any commission.
Entry Fee: $20 for 1 or 2 pieces (You may enter more than once if you have additional works.)
