Short Description The Cranach Scholarship supports students at art schools and emerging artists by offering a one-month residency at the historical Cranach workshop in Wittenberg, Germany. Hosted by the Cranach Foundation, this program continues the artistic tradition of Lucas Cranach the Elder’s renowned painting workshop. The residency allows artists to work in the studio, engage with the public, and conduct workshops for young artists. Keep the Cranach workshop open daily for visitors. Engage with the public through discussions about their work. Conduct a public workshop discussion. Lead a multi-hour workshop for young artists at the Youth Art School.
