Brief Description

Nýlistasafnið (Reykjavík, Iceland) and Artistes en Résidence (Clermont-Ferrand, France) are offering a joint artist residency for two artists—one living and working in Iceland and one in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region of France. This call is open only to artists residing in Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes. The selected artist will spend six weeks in Reykjavík, Iceland, engaging in research and experimentation with support from Nýlo (The Living Art Museum) and SÍM (The Icelandic Visual Artists Association).

Theme

This is a research-based residency with no obligation for a final production. The focus is on experimentation, networking, and immersion in the Icelandic art scene.

Submission Requirements

  • The residency does not require a specific project but focuses on artistic research and development.

 

Selection Process
