Title & Description:

Expressions of Interest are open for the Curator of the 6th National Indigenous Art Triennial in 2028.

The Triennial is a defining pillar of the National Gallery’s Artistic Program. The selected curator will bring an original vision to elevate First Nations voices, commissioning and displaying new works by established and emerging First Nations artists from across the continent. Following its presentation in Kamberri/Canberra, the Triennial will tour nationally. This 6th iteration is particularly resonant, coinciding with the 40th anniversary of the commissioning and acquisition of The Aboriginal Memorial (1987–88).
