DAS WEISSE HAUS organizes this program in partnership with the Academy of Fine Arts Vienna. DAS WEISSE HAUS is a key institution in Vienna's contemporary art scene, functioning as an exhibition space and residency platform. This program leverages their partnership to connect emerging professionals with the city's academic and artistic infrastructure.
Title & Description:
Applications are open for Curators' Agenda: VIENNA 2026, an intensive residency program for emerging international curators.
The program combines theoretical reflection with hands-on exhibition making. It is designed to foster professional exchange and collaborative learning within an international peer group.
The residency focuses on the 2026 theme "IN(TER)DEPENDENCE," exploring intersections of science, art, and technology, and concepts of symbiosis and solidarity.
Participants will attend lectures, studio visits, and workshops (on Press, Communication, and Production). The program culminates in a collectively co-curated group exhibition at DAS WEISSE HAUS (scheduled for November 2026), developed under the mentorship of Anamarija Batista, PhD.
