Short Description:
An open call is to be held for this section and will be open to all photographers under age 35. Entrants will be required to submit an idea for a project related to the theme of the Award. The winner of this section will receive a mention in the exhibition dedicated to the winner of the nomination section and €20,000 towards the execution of their project idea. The resulting work will become an exhibition when the next edition of the Award is held. The submitted idea for a project will be selected by an international jury made of reknown professionals.
The theme of the Call for Submissions is Contrast. The aim is to invite participants to narrate and explore the gap between equality and inequality, using the various contradictions inherent in contemporary societies as a point of reference.
Application Requirements: A description of the project and a budget estimate of the project itself. The images that make up the portfolio of 10 photos can relate to both the project idea itself and other projects.
Eligibility: All amateur and professional photographers who have not yet turned 35 at the time of participation can participate in the open call category.
Program Benefits or Awards: €20,000 towards the execution of their project idea. The resulting work will become an exhibition when the next edition of the Award is held.
