ArtEO, an initiative by Imperative Space, empowers artists to work with Earth Observation (EO) and environmental data. The program provides access to satellite imagery, scientific expertise, and creative collaboration opportunities to help artists transform data into innovative art that engages the public.

Earth Stories Open Call 2026
Artists are invited to create multisensory art projects that use EO and environmental data in innovative ways. The program encourages visual, digital, auditory, and installation-based experimentation to communicate climate change, biodiversity, pollution, and other planetary issues. Selected artists receive mentorship, funding, and exhibition opportunities, producing works that merge science, art, and public engagement.

Eligibility

  • Open to artists internationally.
  • No prior science or data experience required.

  • Funding: Up to €4,000 per artist for project production.
