/ecm 2026 – Call for Applications
The /ecm program is a professional, part-time, four-semester study track designed to support career development in
curatorial practice and academic research in the arts. Commencing in October 2026 and running until June 2028, the program comprises 22 modules totaling 120 ECTS points.
Applicants can choose between two pathways:
- Associate Master’s Degree (MA CE) – Participants complete a Master's thesis and graduate with the academic title Master of Arts (Continuing Education). This path is ideal for applicants with a subject-related bachelor’s degree and relevant professional experience.
- University Course – Academic Curator – Participants complete a practice-based research project and graduate with the academic title Academic Curator. This path is suited for professionals with extensive work experience or a completed bachelor’s degree.
Both pathways run simultaneously, offering the same curriculum, but differ in the admission criteria and the format of the final academic project.
