Title & Description
Engagement Curator (Maternity Cover)
This role invites an imaginative professional to lead Autograph’s engagement with schools and young people and to expand its wider community engagement programs. The curator will develop and deliver educational and participatory activities aligned with Autograph’s artistic themes—identity, race, representation, and rights—both on-site and off-site, contributing to strategy, creative content, and program development.
Role Overview
- Salary: £40,000–£43,500 per annum (dependent on experience)
- Contract Type: Fixed-term, full-time (35 hours/week), May/June 2026 – February/March 2027
- Location: Rivington Place, Shoreditch, London, UK, with some remote flexibility
- Reporting to: Head of Engagement/Director
- Curator/Programme: Lead learning and engagement activity on-site, off-site, and online
Position & Tasks
- Lead strategy and manage engagement with schools and young people
- Develop and review wider community engagement priorities
- Generate ideas for creative content and activities for on-site, off-site, and digital projects
- Manage partnerships with community organizations, libraries, and other stakeholders
- Oversee project budgets, evaluation, and impact assessment
- Collaborate with team members to ensure inclusive, high-quality engagement
