The Nordic Culture Fund is a Nordic funding body that supports arts and cultural initiatives with the potential to create new perspectives, collaborations and developments across the Nordic Region. Its ENTER programme is designed specifically for ambitious ideas that need room for experimentation, exploration and learning before an outcome or format is established.

ENTER – Give ambitious ideas space to grow
ENTER supports experimental initiatives that bring together different experiences, disciplines, places, sectors or perspectives. The programme is intended for ideas that need to be explored, tested or developed collaboratively rather than projects with a fully predetermined outcome.
Arts and/or culture must play a significant role, while collaboration with other fields and sectors is encouraged. Projects should challenge established ways of working and have potential to generate new knowledge, relationships, methods or future opportunities.
A key requirement is a Nordic anchoring and collaboration across borders. This may be expressed through the project's partners, themes, perspectives, geography or working methods.

Eligibility
Both individuals and organisations may apply. Applicants do not have to be from the arts and cultural sector, provided that arts and/or culture play a central role in the proposed initiative.
Applicants and partners may be based inside or outside the Nordic Region. However, the overall initiative must demonstrate a clear and meaningful connection to the Nordic Region and must involve collaboration across borders, understood broadly as collaboration across places, disciplines, sectors, practices, experiences or ways of working.
Program Benefits & Awards
- Funding of up to 50,000 DKK
- No co-funding requirement
- Up to 25,000 DKK additional funding may be requested for special costs, including accessibility needs and other circumstances affecting participation
- Maximum possible total grant: 75,000 DKK
- Eligible costs may include fees, travel, accommodation, venue hire and materials
- Five-week processing period after the application deadline
- Opportunities to develop experimental ideas, generate new knowledge and establish future collaborations
ENTER does not primarily fund education or study visits, conference/festival participation, tours, publications or productions, organisational core costs, construction projects, or routine technical equipment purchases.

- Funding decision: Within five weeks after the deadline
- Project period: Activities must begin after the funding decision and be completed and reported no later than one year after the stated start date

Additional Details
ENTER places particular emphasis on three assessment areas: ambition and collaboration; learning and transformative potential; and significance in a Nordic context. The programme values experimentation and learning even when the final outcome is not yet known.
Collaborators do not all need to be confirmed when applying. Workshops, meetings, research trips or residencies may be eligible when they form part of a broader initiative of exploration, testing or development.
Applications may include collaborators from sectors outside the arts, provided arts and/or culture remain central. Multiple applications are permitted when they concern different initiatives.
